Photo of the Month

I’ve been sorting through pictures from my aunt’s wedding last June. When my grandparents passed away, they left the great big house my grandpa built and an assortment of their treasures (and junk) to my mom and her sisters. My grandma always had a lovely collection of pretty things. I love this one.

Even More Fun

My aunt offered me the opportunity to photograph her wedding last summer. I can’t even put into words what a privilege and honor it was to capture her special and beautiful day. I’ve selected a few of my favorite shots from the day for your viewing pleasure.

Some of the Fun I’ve Been Having

Before reviving this blog about an hour ago, I had not posted a single picture since 2013. I pretty much fell off the face of the blogosphere for two years. (Yeesh.) Hundreds of pictures and this evening’s one and only post later, I’m here to share with you some of the fun I’ve been having without you. I will put together a few posts over the next couple of days.

In this first fun post, I’d like to share my new love of black and white photography. Some friends of mine were more than willing subjects for my first ever black and white photo shoot. Here are a couple of my favorites:

That little chunky monkey is my favorite 2 1/2 year old in all of the world. His parents aren’t so bad either. Here they are for posterity:
