“A picture is worth a thousand words” is how the saying goes. As you may know, this blog is a continuation of an old blog of mine, “Decorus Verum“. Mille Lacuna, or “A Thousand Words” was created as a result of great frustration on account of this former blog which, for whatever reason, refused to let me post pictures. As photography has become an important part of my life in recent months, this was absolutely not acceptable. In addition, whenever I went to edit a post, various odd things would happen to the text (enlargement, format issues, etc.).
So although the main purpose of this blog may be photographs of mine (and other artists as I see fit), it is also a continuation of my old blog. This is not only a blog of pictures, but of thoughts, my life, ramblings and rants, etc. It is a blog of many things. For those of you who know me and my wordy/lengthy writing style, “a thousand words” may have multiple meanings. For those of you who have absolutely no clue, I am quite sure that you will understand soon enough.
